We recently completed the design and construction of our new office location in Grafton, WI. The architectural studio includes open offices, kitchenette, conference spaces and new restrooms. Also included in the building is Kara Marie Boutique specializing in women's apparel & jewelry.
The project features a total remodel of a historic building complex, a combination of two 100-year old masonry buildings that once housed the village’s post office and state bank. Restoration work includes: new structural systems, comprehensive utility upgrades, masonry restoration, ADA/life-safety upgrades, new windows/doors, new roofing, foundation repairs and interior finishes.
The building, originally slated for demolition, sat empty for 10 years prior to our acquisition. Through design, we blended a faithful historic restoration of the exterior with contemporary interiors meeting our office needs. The project highlights our commitment to sustainable design and adaptive reuse of structures and building materials.
