We recently completed the design and construction of our new office location in Grafton, WI. The architectural studio includes private/open offices for 24 people, two kitchenettes, three conference spaces and new restrooms.
The project features a total remodel of a historic building complex, a combination of two 100-year old masonry buildings that once housed the village’s post office and state bank. Restoration work includes: new structural systems, comprehensive utility upgrades, masonry restoration, ADA/life-safety upgrades, new windows/doors, new roofing, foundation repairs and interior finishes.
The building, originally slated for demolition, sat empty for 10 years prior to our acquisition. Through design, we blended a faithful historic restoration of the exterior with contemporary interiors meeting our office needs. The project highlights our commitment to sustainable design and adaptive reuse of structures and building materials.
