Forestry Awareness Center: Regeneration

"Regeneration" focuses on innovative wood construction and environmental awareness through the design of a forestry awareness center for Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources. The project is to be located on the northeast quadrant of the Milwaukee County Grounds, where land is being sold to the DNR, MMSD and private development companies. This area will become a state forest with nature center, water retention basins for flood prevention and an economic development zone stimulated through private ownership.
